KYLER L.V. MORTON
Teen photographer
Kyler L.V. Morton is a 15-year-old photographer and high school student based in Virginia Beach, VA. He discovered his passion for photography in 2020, beginning with toy photography before expanding into nature, cityscape, landscape, product, and creative photography. As his talent and eye for compelling images grew, Kyler turned to YouTube to deepen his skills, studying photography techniques and editing methods that he continues to apply today.
In April 2022, Kyler was awarded a $1,500 grant through the L. Louise Lucas Youth Entrepreneur Pitch Contest, which he used to launch his business, Leevisionz Photography. With the grant, he built a website, purchased inventory, and began participating in local events as a vendor—promoting his brand, connecting with the community, and selling his work.
Kyler began his journey using just an iPhone, starting with an iPhone 7 and later upgrading to an iPhone 13 Pro for improved image quality. Today, he uses both his iPhone and a traditional DSLR camera to capture his unique perspective.
Beyond photography, Kyler has a deep appreciation for fashion, modeling, Black history, and the arts.
